A day after heaving a sigh of relief, the habitant of the capital city of Bhubaneswar today again two fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from the city.
Yesterday, the health ministry had proclaimed that Bhubaneswar turned into a Corona free city as 48 COVID-19 positive cases recovered from the deadly virus over last two months.
However, today again the state information and public relation department twitted that two local COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar.
With recovery of three COVID-19 patients on Monday, Bhubaneswar had become coronavirus free city.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in Bhubaneswar had reduced to three after recovery of eight patients on May 13.
As per official statistics, as many as 50 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar, out of which two elderly patients had died of the disease while undergoing treatment and 45 of them had recovered by May 13.
The remaining three patients had recovered yesterday bringing the number of COVID-19 patients to zero in the capital city of Odisha.
